Und die Tagungs-Hompage ist jetzt online.
The Deadline of the Call-for-Posters for the conference in Graz has been extended until May, 6th.
And the Conference Homepage is now online (sorry, only in German). I don't know if I will be able to put a translation on here. At the moment I have to many other things to do.
A very short summary:
The conference is basically about dietetics in recipe collections and cooking manuscripts. In medieval and early post-medieval point of view "the doctor is the better cook" because ingredients and food preperation are the best prophylaxis against all kinds of illness.
Speakers are among others Melitta Weiss Adamson, Thomas Gloning, Johanna Maria van Winter, Kay Peter Jankrift ...
The Call-for-posters is still open and welcome are all kinds of poster presentations concerning medieval and post-medieval dietetics, cooking, nutrition, preparation techniques, food, drink, ... Everyone who wants to hang a poster is asked to give a 6 min. presentation. The best contributions will be awarded.
